Out in the fields, a scarecrow stood alone. He longed for the company of the birds that flitted around the farm, their chirps and songs a constant melody. But his rough-hewn patches and straw stuffing scared them off. Feeling lonely, he wondered, “Do I even have a real purpose?”
The Scarecrow’s dream teaches a valuable lesson. Just like him, we all have a special role to play in God’s grand design. We shouldn’t crave the approval of others, but focus on the purpose He has entrusted to us.
By trusting in His divine plan and serving with joyful hearts, we learn that even the simplest actions can have a profound impact on the world.
